Qur’an isn’t ambiguous

Sincerely, Qur’an isn’t ambiguous. While most people understand Salawat as oratories/churches/synagogues in 22:40, basically a place of worship, then As-Salah in “…do not approach the As-Salah when you are intoxicated” in 4:43 is most likely referring to the place of worship where you speak (Qul), and must be clean, since “approach” (taqrab) is mentioned which is literally a physical action to go to a place, and also since the rest of the verse speaks about a journey (Safar), thus As-Salat here must be referring to a place where one is supposed to go to only if they are not intoxicated and not unclean, and only obligatory if they are well enough and not on a journey. The Qur’an is the clear and precise word of Allah.

• Sahih International:
O you who have believed, do not approach prayer As-Salah while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.
