Al Mutakabbir itself inherently does not mean Arrogant. Mutakabbir means one who presents or manifests greatness. In the Qur’an, in the context of humans, it means they are arrogant in they are described with takabbur or mutakabbirīn to imply they are pretending or inflating their “greatness” i.e. ego (nafs).

And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing. (Qur’an 7:180)
Allah calls Himself Al-Mutakabbir which means The Supreme or moreso The Manifester of His Greatness.
القرءان سورة الحشر 23

He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. (Qur’an 59:23)
Traditionalists are adamant about shouting “allahu akbar!” (God is greater!) whenever possible; in fact, it has become their warcry. In reality. the Qur’an contains no mention of allahu akbar, where akbar refers grammatically to allahu. The Qur’an clearly states that Allah is Al-Kabīr (The Great), not Akbar (greater or greatest).
القرءان سورة الحج 62

That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand. (Qur’an 22:62)
Saying that Al-Mutakabbir means arrogant and calling Allah “arrogant” does not logically hold, Allah is the creator and destroyer of everything, has power over everything, hence The Supreme, arrogance is a trait in which one proclaims to be superior than another irrationally and treat them with undue humiliation, while actually having another superior over you, Allah has no partners and no one above Him.
Aḍ-Ḍarr (The Distressing), this name is not mentioned in the Quran, though here are some verses to counter it:

Al-Mudhil means The Humbler, though this isn’t mentioned in the Qur’an. Dhalla doesn’t mean ritual humiliation and demotivation. Only those who are not humble and without humility are abased. Allah honors those who deserve it, like the saying goes “there is no honour among thieves”, such people need to be humbled and lowered from their false pretense of takabbur.

And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners. (Qur’an 3:54)
They schemed to kill ‘Īsa, so Allah schemed to save him instead. Was this a bad counter-scheme? No, Allah’s scheme saved ‘Īsa Al-Masīh, also, the same people will be punished for crucifying other people for the sake of shirk.
{ And a messenger to the Children of Israel: “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I create for you from clay the shape of a bird, then I blow into it and it becomes a bird with Allah’s permission, and I heal the blind and the leper, and bring the dead back to life with Allah’s permission, and I can tell you what you eat and what you store in your homes. Indeed, in that is a sign for you, if you are believers. (3:49) I come confirming what came before me of the At-Tawrāt, and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. Therefore, reverence Allah, and obey me. (3:50) Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path.” (3:51) Then, when ‘Īsa felt disbelief on their part, he said, “Who are my supporters for Allah?” The disciples said, “We are Allah’s supporters. We have believed in Allah and bear witness that we are Muslims. (3:52) Our Lord, we have believed in what You have brought down, and we have followed the messenger, so write us among the witnesses.” (3:53) They schemed and Allah schemed, and Allah is the best of schemers. (3:54) Allah said, “O ‘Īsa, I am taking you back, raising you to Me and purifying you of those who disbelieved. I will place those who followed you above those who disbelieved until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return and I will judge between you regarding that over which you used to differ. (3:55) As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and in the Hereafter. They will have no supporters.” (3:56) And as for those who believe and do good deeds, He will pay them their rewards in full. God does not like the transgressors. (3:57) }
{ They SEEK TO TRICK Allah and those who believed while they deceive none but themselves, but THEY ARE NOT AWARE. (2:9) }
So, who were the ones that were deceived? The treacherous Israelites who pretended to believe in ‘Īsa, for their own benefit, but wanted him dead if they got the opportunity. Not the true Ansar, the true Ansar know that Jesus was not truly crucified, and they say his body is like lifeless, because the real person ‘Īsa was already raised to Allah. Also, people who say that it was another man who was crucified, they speculate based upon what it says in Matthew 27:16-17, also there’s no verse in the Quran that suggests it was another man’s body that was crucified, Allah would have to create an exact replica an exact identical body of ‘Īsa, though there’s nothing to suggest that this happened either, as Allah doesn’t actually trick people into disbelief by letting another innocent person (basically clone) to die in his Divine Intervention i.e. Scheme.
